AGREEMENT
These Terms govern use of Fyzygy Conductor. By using Fyzygy Conductor, the user agrees to these Terms.
ELIGIBILITY
The products are for adults aged eighteen and over. A date of birth is collected at signup to confirm age, and anyone under eighteen cannot create an account. Use by anyone under eighteen is prohibited.
ACCOUNTS
Signup uses a one time passcode. Login uses a password. A forgotten password is reset through the first-time password-set path. A user is responsible for keeping their credentials secure and for activity under their account. A user has one Fyzygy account with a public handle, the same across the products, which the user can change at most once every thirty days; a retired handle is not reused. A user sets a display name for each product.
HOW FYZYGY CONDUCTOR CONTENT IS MADE
Fyzygy Conductor's cards, also called tickets, and its stories are generated by the company by automated extraction from public sources, principally Wikipedia, subject to the accuracy statements below and in the Content Licence and Attribution notice. Users post no content on Fyzygy Conductor.
CONTENT IS MACHINE GENERATED
Fyzygy Conductor cards and stories are generated by automated means. They are not written or checked by hand and may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. They are provided for general interest and should not be relied on as authoritative. The Content Licence and Attribution notice states how to report an error and our commitment to correct it.
THE LICENCE ON FYZYGY CONDUCTOR CONTENT
The text of Fyzygy Conductor cards and stories is adapted from Wikipedia, whose text is available under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Because our text is derived from that source, we offer our cards and stories under the same licence, the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License, for free reuse on the same terms, with attribution and share alike. Anyone who reuses a Fyzygy Conductor card or story must attribute Fyzygy Conductor as a condition of that reuse, because the content is processed and presented by Fyzygy Conductor. The Content Licence and Attribution notice sets out the attribution required.
IMAGES
If images are ever used on Fyzygy Conductor, only images under a public-domain dedication, or a Creative Commons Attribution or Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike licence, may be used.
WHAT IS RESERVED, AND WHAT IS FREE
The free licence above covers the text of Fyzygy Conductor cards and stories only. Everything else is proprietary and reserved to the company and may not be copied or commercially used without written permission. Reserved items include the software, the user interface, the Fyzygy and Fyzygy Conductor names, brands, logos and marks, the design, the advertising system, and every user's private content on the notes product. The free licence does not extend to any of these.
COMPANY PROPERTY
The company's own materials, namely its trademarks, its user interface, its software, and its designs, are the company's property or licensed to it, and may not be copied or commercially used without permission. This clause covers platform assets only. The generated Fyzygy Conductor cards and stories are addressed separately above, where the text is offered under a free licence.
ACCEPTABLE USE
A user must not use Fyzygy Conductor for anything unlawful, and must not attempt to break or misuse it.
SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
The company may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law, or where the law requires. A user may close their account at any time through the account centre, which begins the account closure and deletion process described in the account and data deletion policy.
GRIEVANCES
A user may raise a grievance with the Grievance Officer, as described on the contact page. To report an incorrect card or story, use the correction route in the Content Licence and Attribution notice.
ADVERTISING
Fyzygy Conductor shows advertising, governed by the advertising page for users. Advertising is never based on any user content, because Fyzygy Conductor has none, and is based on a user's activity only where the user has switched on personalised advertising.
DISCLAIMERS
Fyzygy Conductor is provided as it is. The company does not guarantee that it will always be available or error free. Fyzygy Conductor content is machine generated and provided for general interest, as stated above.
LIABILITY
The company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on automatically generated Fyzygy Conductor content, which is provided for general interest and may contain errors.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, for every user.
UPDATES TO THE APP
The company updates Fyzygy Conductor through Google Play. In addition, when the app opens it may download an update to its own code and use that update at the next launch.
CHANGES
The company may update these Terms and will make material changes visible before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means the user accepts them.
